- Temporary sculpture
The proposed project includes building a temporary sculpture ( duration approximately three weeks ) on the open square between the Kunstmuseum and the Bundeskunsthalle Bonn.
The project itself consists of two construction cranes, five demolition balls and one excavator (see
drawings).
Through the movment of one of the outer balls a dynamic transfer of energy occurs. The pendulation of the demolition balls offers the viewer a level of physical significance and also leaves the interpretation open towards an artistic and political manner of seeing, as well as a critic of the ordinary.
